By creating an account and using the Arvia HR Intelligence Platform ("Arvia", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users worldwide.
Arvia is an AI-powered HR intelligence platform created by SKW Strategies LLC, providing guidance for employee relations situations, HR strategy, leadership development, leadership readiness assessment, and position strategy advisory. The platform uses artificial intelligence powered by the proprietary SKW HR knowledge base and frameworks to generate responses. Arvia is a guidance tool only and does not provide legal advice.
The guidance provided by Arvia is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice, employment law advice, or professional HR consulting services. Employment laws vary significantly by country, region, and jurisdiction. While Arvia provides jurisdiction-specific guidance for the United States and Canada, and general HR guidance for other locations, you should always consult a qualified employment attorney or certified HR professional before making employment decisions, especially in high-risk situations involving harassment, discrimination, termination, or potential litigation.
Arvia offers subscription plans on a monthly or annual basis. All plans include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. Your payment method will not be charged until day 15 of your trial period. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time through Settings → Billing in your Arvia account.
All prices are listed in US dollars (USD). Users outside the United States are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by their payment provider.
All subscription fees are non-refundable once charged. This is consistent with standard practice for subscription-based software services.
When you cancel your subscription:
Because Arvia includes a 14-day free trial before any charge is made, you have the opportunity to fully evaluate the service before committing to a paid subscription.
To cancel your subscription, go to Settings → Billing in your Arvia account.
You agree to use Arvia only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. You may not use Arvia to violate any applicable laws or regulations, harass or harm another person, share false or misleading information, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' data.
Each organization on Arvia has its own isolated workspace. Users may only access data belonging to their organization. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
During your trial and active subscription, you may export your data at any time from within the Arvia application. Upon cancellation, your account and data will remain accessible until the end of your current billing period. After that, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export anything you need.
For full details on data retention, your privacy rights, and how we handle your personal data — including your rights under GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA — please review our Privacy Policy.
Separate from how Arvia retains your account data (covered above), your organization has independent legal obligations to retain certain employment records under the laws of the countries where you operate. These obligations exist regardless of whether you use Arvia, and Arvia does not assume responsibility for your organization's compliance with them. Arvia's CSV export functionality can help you retain your own records, but the responsibility for compliance rests with your organization. The following is general information only, not legal advice — always confirm current requirements with qualified counsel in the relevant jurisdiction.
If your organization operates in a country not listed above, general HR guidance is still available, but you should independently confirm your record-keeping obligations under local law.
You may upload documents to Arvia such as employee handbooks and collective bargaining agreements. You retain ownership of all content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Arvia a limited license to use that content solely to provide the Service to you. You represent that you have the right to upload any content you provide and that doing so does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights. Uploaded documents must be readable digital files — scanned images cannot be processed by the platform.
Arvia is available globally. Users outside the United States and Canada are responsible for ensuring their use of Arvia complies with all applicable local laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. Arvia makes no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in all locations.
Jurisdiction-specific employment law guidance is currently supported for the United States (all 50 states), Canada (all provinces), Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Users in other countries receive general HR guidance and should consult local employment law professionals for jurisdiction-specific advice.
